Geothermal

It can be seen from the above map that considering the number of natural hotspots in the world, there is a distinct lack of investment in geothermal energy by those countries who have access to it. Through our categorisation programme we aim to make the most of the natural resources at countries disposal.

Some of the countries included in our categorization include:

  • India

  • Kenya

  • Mongolia

  • Turkey

  • Colombia

These above countries include nations that are already starting out investment in the field of geothermal power, and also includes countries that need help with start ups.

Solar

This map clearly demonstrates that the countries located in the most ideal place to harness solar power are currently not doing so. The Saharan region of Africa is a prime location, but lacks investment at the moment.

We want to improve this.

Countries in this category include:

  • Niger

  • Egypt

  • Chile

  • Australia

  • Morocco

By harnessing solar power in these locations we can make a real difference to the development of African nations.

Wind

Wind power is best harnessed when wind turbines are installed just offshore. This means our categorisation focuses largely on non-land locked countries. This type of power is currently being harnessed by more developed nations, but we hope to expand the scope of this energy source by encouraging less developed nations to also invest in this power source.

Countries in the wind category include:

  • Denmark

  • UK

  • Argentina

  • Germany

  • Somalia

This category allows for the transfer of technology and knowledge between developed and non-developed nations.
